Networking: Heaven & Hell

This weekend was a tumultuous one in the world of writing, and today was crazy! 

First today I finished the final chapter of Darkness Calling, the story I have had the deepest love/hate relationship with. I based it off a dream I had when I had just started dating my ex-husband. Of Dubstep & Thanskgiving

I hope everyone had a good holiday. I'll be honest: I did not. I have always and will always hate Thanksgiving with a passion and surviving it is the best I can look forward to. The funny thing is i almost believe I tempted the universe by comparing the family dinner I attend to dubstep: the words/lyrics are stolen, the pace changes randomly, and there's no art to it. Over the last 48 hours dubstep keeps being foisted on me, no matter how much I hate it.

The Longest Midnight Has Begun!

Work on the forthcoming urban fantasy novel "The Longest Midnight" has officially begun. Based off an idea I had some years ago it was plotted entirely by myself and Susan Droste. Due to conflicting schedules we've reached a good compromise to co-author and keep the tone even. I will write the 1st draft alone based off the plot & characters we created together, we will edit for content together, and Susan will do the final edit.

For those of you who found me through Literotica.com you're probably familiar with my story on there "Darkness Calling." I have just uploaded the penultimate chapter and am almost done writing the final chapter. After a few years on this I have to admit, I'm glad to be saying goodbye.
